Wow! First time I've seen a salvaged title Marauder with this much done to it. Must have been a nasty wreck to require the rear suspension changes. Slight bump in the front end my ass! All in all, though, it doesn't look too bad, excepting for the blacked out CV grille. Chrome or DTR painted surround would have worked better, I think. And those wheels....

It was decently done pretty cleanly. It's not for me, but seems or look's like it was owned by PD ? As far as swapping out the air springs for coils it is a pretty easy swap. No heavy work or welding required.

When MM's go down enough in price, I would probably do that to one. You can always swap a grille and bumper cover back, and cutting a 1/2" C out of the door edge isn't anything to lose sleep over. I wouldn't do that to one with super low miles but for a well worn car -- anything is fair game.

Side damage too ?? .... even the door handles are different.

Actually, now that I look at it. What are the odds that this car is truely a Crown Vic P71, but when he swapped out the interior the VIN tags switched with the dashes? Is that even possible? If that is the case, that's probably the sexiest P71 to ever live! lol

:awe:they changed everything, bumers front and rear (no MARAUDER in the rear bumper but has the dual megs tips) truck is off a crown with the blue oval and all. looks like the doors are even off a crown with the marauder door panles too?? lot of work to make the real thing look fake? screw the sleeper look, we already have it until we hit the fogs and the gas!:burn:

You could be right, but I'm putting my money on it's having started life as a Marauder.

I mean, switching VIN's on a modern car, especially if it was the cops? .....naaaaa

Now thats different  I guess it was cheaper to redo into a roadwarrior? If the price was lower I'd consider it.

If this was a wrecked marauder that they brought back to life and wanted to do so with cheaper parts, I must say, this thing came out sweet! I personally would have done it right, but as said previously, this has got to be the nicest CV I have seen!

am I wrong or should the valve covers be black?

2003 MM's had the painted (black) Cam Covers.

2004 MM's did not..

Just from the pics I think they did a pretty nice job and if the frame and suspension are straight this might be a decent buy. It sure looks cool.
