The old saying goes, it isn't who you know,.... enough of that, Studies have just been confirmed, that 6 degrees of seperation is a proven fact, so I know everyone, remotely. After working in the entertainment industry for a few years, I've met a lot of people. I know Dean Chance, (Cy Young winner.)

My stepmoms old neighbor was John Ritters neice or something like that, i met him dozens of times, he was a great guy and funny in real life also. And John and James Belushi went to my wifes High school, However many years before her.

I wouldn't claim to know these people, but I have either had frequent dealings with them as aquaintances, through my husband, schoolmates, clients, etc.; One of Jimi Hendrix' girlfriends, Marcia Cross, Erique La Salle, Pat and Bill Buckley(both deceased). I met and worked with lots of people in New York who were well known in their fields and would stay in touch with some for years. But I would not say that is the same as really knowing. I did however, really enjoy getting a glimpse into such interesting lives. (not that mine is dull!)

I was in 2 bands, Thunderbolt was in 1 of them, with the guitarist from Boys Like Girls.

When we recorded a demo with an old band of ours, the producer played for the band Boston, and is a huge radio celebrity around here.

My boss grew up with Dennis Leary, wow the sotries he has...

and My brothers friend is was good friends with Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme

Thunderbolt and i can honestly say we KNOW the lady with the world's longest fingernails. Lee Redmond. she is an awesome person and before any of you pass judgement, we stayed in London with her for about a week and she carries about her life in a normal manner and after a few days, you dont even really think of the nails.
