Not even close to the original movie.

It would be better if my band was part of the soundtrack, but I'm all for it. Looks like fun. In fact some of us here in the Windy City are all taking our Marauders to a drive in to see it!

yeah, im thinking it might be a let down of the original.
it would be cool if they were tying to kill president bush though!

Never saw or even heard of the original and my blockbuster doesn't carry anything old.

Statham delivers in any movie because he's the man.

When I first saw the original I instantly thought of Roman games from 1,000s of years ago. I don't think the president has anything to do with the new one, but I do like how they killed him and it restored the world.

Ouch. :shake:
I've seen the previews on TV. This movie looks awefull. I'll be surprised if this movie even sticks to the DVD.
The drivers in the original were national heros. In the re-make the drivers are prisoners. Who cares if a prisoner wins anything?

Christine is being remade soon, but I just know I'm gonna hate the car and the music. Nothing does it for like like 50's cars and 50's music... nothing.
