2004's are just hitting the lots now, with $2500 rebates. You can still get 2003's, I can get them here in dallas for $26500 no problems. '04's will be more expensive..

Hi Tony,
The 04 has an upgraded transmission, but that's about it other than the addition of the toreador red paint.
Tranny worth the extra dough? Well not really no....
Isn't there more spark advance at lower rpms also?

1st I've ever heard that one...

The better spark advance at lower RPM might come in through the presence of dual knock sensors. All depends on how Mercury decides to tune their PCM. They might be able to get more aggressive without high risk because of the greater sensitivity to knock detection.
This software magician Jerry wrote the original MM tables... would he know anything about the 2004 tables? What's his take on this?

I did that M-B E500 2004 Marauder comparison that was posted in "story board" It indicated that the 2004 Marauder MSRP is $34,495
