I forgot about this car movie

I don't care what any of you say The Love Bug is one of the best car movies of all time. I almost think it inspired Chirstine, but in an evil way. The remake is total garbage to me now, I used to like it until I found the original after not seeing it for 15 years and now seeing how real everything was.

I don't think we will ever see smoking, drinking, drunkeness, gambling or suicide attempt in a G rated movie again, let alone from Disney. It's funny how things change.

Does anyone dig the original or am I alone of this one too?
