As I understand it, the FIT kit uses the OEM fan and shroud, but inverts it so the shallow part is at the top. Could somebody show me how the brackets, wiring, and mounting is configured? I'm running short on space with my new setup due to the Griffin radiator being thicker than the OEM.

1. Brackets: Hold down the two (lower) tabs that are now on the top, due to the "flip" of the shroud, where the original bolts go
2. Wiring (shroud) is extended to reach the plug under the rad hose, rather than relocating the fan motor, as the directions suggest.
3. Mounting: The bottom the the shroud (that used to be the top) is mounted to a plate using original bolts, and holes on the shroud. Plate is mounted using the original holes, and bolts for the air damm..
I'll put up some pics for you, Brutha...
If someone doesn't get to you first...

Doesn't someone on here have a .pdf file of the install manual? Might want to ask "Spilner". I think someone sent him one of these files when he was trying to sort out his FIT tuning issues.

Brian, I would ditch the factory fan setup and get a good Griffin shroud and electric fan setup that fits the way you want it to. I had the FIT setup and it works, but there are better ways, they just cost more money is all.

Ive been reading on other forums that the Mark VIII fans are the ticket. They are pretty low profile and pull the most cfm out of any production fan from ford.
EDIT: Found the link. This guy always has them to sell and has a trader rating of +49

Brian,
It's not all gonna fit with a flipped fan and a Griffin. The shroud will actually get close to or in the way of the charger head unit and will most assuredly get in the way and make a nightmare of the 90 inlet.
I'm with Zack on this one. The low profile Mark fan or the shroud Dennis Reinhart uses with his kits (it's Ford OEM, but not sure from what) is the answer. The flipped fan ain't gonna work in your case, i'm afraid. If it does, it's gonna be super-tight and have to be removed from below every time you have any belt issue at all.
Good luck, bro.

Actually I won't be using the head unit or the 90 inlet. But other stuff is gonna get in the way.

I'll check on getting one of the fans Dennis uses. I have a MkVIII fan I got off ebay awhile back, it has a couple of problems with fitment on the MM.

NO WAY to remove it from below... I have the CVPI oil cooler mounted down there!

Can you elaborate please?
Are the MkVIII fans a no-go on FIT Marauders?

Care to share with us on this new set up that doesn't require head unit and 90* inlet? :nono:

Wow, I looked around and found that I still have the Mustang shroud with the Marauder fan installed. This is what I was using back when I was running the Procharger.
