Just wanted to let the members know that we are beginning the installation of the Eaton Roots blower today. I will do my best to keep everyone up to date on how things are going. A rough guess-timate is 12-15 hours to install the Trilogy setup. I should be able to get my hands on a digital camera to document the install for folks that are interested.

It's back on. Bright and early tomorrow morning.....Kit looks better than I expected, Jerry outdid himself, the production units look a lot better than the proto-types.

I dont know Zach, I am not doing scheduling. I think we should have the kit installed for the most part tomorrow, Saturday for sure. That will be the easy part, this thing bolts on real nice. The fine tuning is where Lidio shines. I think Menace will be ok. Looks like a lot of folks are anxious to get their Trilogy kit.

Well....we started off this morning by prepping the car for the install. Draing fluids, tearing off the old intake, mass air, air box, fuel rails, etc. I was suprised at how little effort and labor the teardown and prep took. After it was prepped, we opened everything else in the kit up....talk about a kid on Christmas morning....Installation was fairly simple and straightforward if you are mechanically inclined, which i am, just barely! I was able to keep up and thanks to Mark, Lidios Tech, he filled me in as we went. Like I said...smooth and easy going. Bottom line is at this point, the Lower Intake, Intercooler, Supercharger, New fuel rail/fuel injectors, Front pullies and brackets, back part of the air induction tube connected to the blower, and assorted plumbing parts were installed and looking good. Depending on how the day goes tomorrow, the physical installation may be done, and ready for a thorough and intensive tuning session with Lidio. I am impressed as hell at Lidio's crew, they know their stuff and work on my car like it was their own. I appreciated the fact they let me be in the same room, but buying the crew lunch has its way of paving yourself a welcome!

Just so you all know, I am taking pictues and should have them loaded up here sometime soon. Wait till you see this setup, especially the ease of install, you will be floored. Any questions, feel free to fire away and I will get an answer for you. Hopefully I will have good news tomorrow night...till then, take care all...
Dave

Good to hear of a professional shop in the area, Dealership shops that are good, are few and far between.
Hope to see you at Wild Woody's Sunday if all goes well.

Lidio is a class act and his shop (Alternative Auto) comes highly recommended. That's why I'm getting my engine built and installed by him.

Dennis asked me to look at the boost gauge when one of his Marauders was tuned, and I forgot to look. It was too much fun watching the tach climb very quickly from 3500-5500 rpms (lots of torque). Does anyone know what the final boost was on a Dennis kit?

The final tuning last night went quickly and the results were stunning. This morning we pulled a few runs on the dyno to test and check the tuning. Results are posted here:
