The one listed on the website is for the "hobby" release, you can get the "retail" versions for 3.99 at Meijers, K-Mart and Target. There is a slight variation in the packaging of the hobby and retail versions. FYI the quality is amazing on these cars I have over 40 Greenlight diecast cars :)

Target carries greenlight cars but if the Marauder will be available in a stand alone package is yet to be seen.

I just checked out more die-cast websites then any human should ever have too, and Im having zero luck with coming up with another Marauder pre-order deal.

Once the car is available then act fast because its not going to last with a limited supply run.

Good news is that someone in Ford had to give the OK to let a die-cast be produced so this may open the door for other companies to build one.

I contacted them a while back about making a 1:18 scale, they told me it would not be cost effective to make it. It is possible that this series will have another run in diffrent colors!

Heres a example, In the picture is a matchbox crown vic next to a AA battery. On the bottom of the car it says its a 1:71 scale. So figure the Marauder will be slightly bigger then the typical matchbox/hot wheels car but not by much.

I just pulled the box out and the car came from MotorMax "Law Enforcement and Public Safety". Basically the car is a Crown Vic and he paints the corner marker lamps and headlights. Then he paints the seats on the inside in a two tone gray and black. Mine has the cobra emblem in the middle of the seat but if I had known I would have put in the Marauder emblem. I am very meticulous anyway and I thought he did a great job with the detail work. He even added the spoiler on the rear. He can personalize to what ever you want. I ordered mine on a Friday and had it by the following Friday. He said it takes about 3 days to build with lights and all.

Its made from a Crown vic so he glued a shifter on top of the police computer in the center of the seats. I had one and its a crappy replica. He used a pen for most of the detail and the oversize rims that he throws on look like crap. Not worth the $100 for a $30 die-cast.

The one I got is a column shift and does have the glued shifter in the console. He could have cut the column shift out if I had known to ask. It is not the MM interior but he makes it look close. Considering no other company was making these at the time I thought it was a good job. I am pleased. He does do all the painting of headlights and sidemarker lamps by hand. So doing by hand would look similar but not like a replica specified in the MM by a professional company. The wheels do say SVT in the middle but are "similar" to the MM wheel. If you want the lights I would recommend this guy to put them in. Plus I like the 1/18 scale. I felt it was worth the money and he did a Great job on mine. Just depends on how detailed you want it to be. Looks good sitting on the shelf. Looks better when I light it up.:burnout:

Hey, the release 9 is going to have the marauder and the 09 Challenger and I can't wait, but am afraid we may not see this release until early nest year. But, when it does happen, you will not be disapointed and don't be surprised if you see other colors come along. The charger casting has spawned Daytona, SRT-8s in verious colors, superbess,a nd police cars, speaking of police cars they also have an 09 Crown vic interceptor coming (check out www.greenlightcollectibles.com scroll to bottom and on the right cligh click on promos and it has pictures of the crown vics, though nothing on the Rauder yet. :(

just an update...I just spoke with Kevin and they are no longer accepting orders for the individually packaged Marauders ($5.99). Sold out completely and the mfg does not intend to run them again at this point (you bums all got in and wiped them out).
They are only available now in the packaged set with the other cars ($24.99/set) and greenlight is telling them to expect the shipment in at the end of December or early January...so I ordered 2 instead of a bunch of single cars

What exactly were you guys expecting considering this is Matchbox/Hot Wheels size?

It's not going to be absolutely perfect at that size, a lot of the detail will be lost.

But be happy that someone's actually paying attention to the car long enough to actually merit the production of a diecast of it.

The development process for these cars is usually a few years. This looks like it could be a very late pre-production model...

All single car(s) are sold out. So if you did not per-order yours, you will have to plop 24 bucks for the muscle car set #9. I am glad I got my 2 bought 3 months ago!. You have to buy Set #9 of six diecasts to get the Marauder.
I asked why I can't buy the Marauder seperately and he said: It's ONLY available in the set now....

The green MM is the green machine from greenlight. Similar to a tresure hunt for hotwheels or white lightning for Johnny Lightning. It is the low production collectable, but it reminds me of that puke green MM with the ghetto gods head on the hood :puke:

I got mine also,they are pretty accurate but the shifter is missing.The detail on the front lights is real good,plus the grill work.And I wonder if that license plate exist on a Virginia Marauder yes that is where the plate is from.

If Im going to go out to a toys r us, I would have to be insane to go to that one. The prices are jacked up, the lines are crazy, and there is no place to park. I travel a mere 5 minutes and I have a giant parking lot with a half empty store. Thats why I would never shop in Manhattan!:D
