I forgot how much I love Popeyes Chicken... must have been those pills I took. What do you like more: Popeyes or KFC?

EDIT: Why do I have that face near the subject? I'm not mad. Can someone remove that? Thanks!

I love Browns Chicken, but I don't know how many know of it from across the country, that's why I decided to stick to Popeyes and KFC.

My favorite meal, fried chicken, humm, humm, good.

I like Brookshire's deli on highway eighty, or Save 1 foods on Shreveport/Barksdale highway, even Wal-Mart on Airline Drive. But my all time favorite is Golden Corral on Youree Drive.

I haven't had fried chicken from anywhere that wasn't good except one place in Texas on highway 59, Rockdale. A no name place where the chicken stank and was undercooked. Bleah.

I miss Browns. We used to have Bojangles in the 80's but they went under. I am not voting because I rarely have either one. I actually have Publix's Fried Chicken.

Church's is good, but no where near me. There is some small time fried chicken place (Chicken Carnival) that is near my parents in Nassau county that is really good.

I would die for Boston Market, until they did away with the corn bread. Now I boycott them.

Did someone say chicken?!??!:D

FIRST of all Popeyes is good...KFC is ok...but here in the DMV(dc,md,va) we have carry outs and those "asian" people sure can fry a wing! I have eaten at many of carry outs and the top ones are EDDIES and STAR. If you ever in the area...swing by and try their chicken...

Of the two, I like KFC better, but my buddy makes a fried chicken with buttermilk that's far better than the chains.

KFC's Spicy Big Crunch sandwich is by far the best chicken sandwich available at any of the fast food joints... Expensive, but sooo good! ;)

How long ago did they do that?

They did it about a year and a half ago, I believe. I was still in my old place. They replaced it with a Biscuit. I used to get a chicken dinner and a dozen corn breads. Those were the days.

They opened a Popeye's in Frederick some years back, and served a very good product.

The first time I went there, the counter person was a lovely, perky, well endowed young lady, and she asked, "Would you like the spicy thighs, sir"?

It's one of the few times in my life, I recall being speechless.

I stop there every year and get it on my way back and forth from Carisle.

With a straight line like that ... I would have ended up leaving with 2 buckets of breasts without saying a word. ;) Perky, huh?? :D
