Birds eye view from 10 metres is hot.

I've seen my Uncles house in California without ever having been to California.

I give Virtual earth the edge, as well, due to the clarity of the 3D images; although it is somewhat more cumbersome and slower than Goggle Earth, at least in my hands. In the final analysis, though, it's the end product that makes me like VE better.

I am in the High Desert of California. The pic of my area that Virtual Earth has is over 5 years old. Google Earth is about 1 1/2 years old.

Until they stream real time data everything is going to be out of date.

Good to know though.
