Yep, hurricane Fay is upon the Florida toast. I mean coast. Time to shove all the expensive crap in the garage.

The Marauder is usually centered with enough room to open the doors and walk around it. Not this time...

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r176/kennycoffey/101_0671.jpg

One more coat of paint and it would not have fit.

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r176/kennycoffey/101_0672.jpg

Yep - that's a pool table over there.

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r176/kennycoffey/101_0679.jpg

Hope the storm only brings rain and a wind - not heartbreak.

It doesn't have to be expensive - it's a 2006 and is paid off. I would hate to have it hit by a tree limb or scratched up from debris. I got stuck with it from a break-up and was forced to own it to save my credit - it's not expensive but would have been if they repossessed it from the ex.

Nope, I put a mirror up and watched the reflection. The Taurus was pushed in and left in neutral.

If that were me that pretty SB would have maroon stripes along the sides of it, lol

P.s your not gonna yell at me for calling that taurus "maroon" and not DTR are you? Lol

Eh, call it what you want. It's actually "Merlot".

Damn! that's tight. I personally would have put the steel shelves on a creeper and rolled it to the front of the red toolbox for a bit more breathing room. Hope nothing bad happens.

Yep, the Marauder does. It took me 11 months to find it.

After you pushed the taurus in how did you put it in park? Or did you just chock (sp?) the wheels?

Wow Kenny, that's crazy. Would it have been less risky to leave one of the cars outside? . . . . and I don't mean the Marauder.

Wow ..... congrats on getting them in. Good luck on getting them out. ;) In the same situation, I think I would have left the Taurus out to fend for itself. Best of luck in riding out the storm.

Or the pool table.......wrapped with a tarp I mean.

The pool table has sentimental value - my Dad bought it for me 5 years ago. Both cars have free and clear titles and I don't particularly want to have to get to them with a chainsaw. I have a squeaky clean insurance record.

Luckily, Fay was not to intense. I am not as fortunate as Kenny in having a garage. My MM had to just sit outside and fend for itself. We still have power and no work today, so not a bad deal

Hey guys - all of you are quite silly and I appreciate the comic relief and sincere concerns. The storm did some heavy gusts and more rain than I have ever seen in this yard. But, no damage.

We're taking 20-25 with 45 gusts right now. Gonna be at us for about 2 days it looks like.

Wind coming from east but will swing to come from south and then west as it passes by.

Pain in my butt!!!

Storm is done down here. Just windy ans a sprinkle or two. But I did notice the canals around here we pretty full even before the storm. They Hyped up this storm something fierce. Reminds me of t he story of the boy who cried Wolf!:shake:

Down by me we got around 4-5 inch's of rain so far. My back yard has about 4 inches of standing water not draining yet. It was very windy last nite but today isn't too bad. Was out to get a hair cut today at 1 pm and the wind gust's was pushing the Towncar around just a little, but it seams to have calmed down by us since last nite. It seams that the S.E. Fl got more rain and S.W. Fl got more wind by what I hear.

It's not intense here, but constant and will be for about 2 days.

I'd rather it pass right over me than go along side. It doesn't last as long passiing right over!!!

Is Lake Okeechobee full yet?The Lake got almost 4 inches of rain as of this morning . When all done they expect a totle increase of 6-7 inches in the lake height . Is it full yet no where near, but it's doing alot better than last year.

Yeah, that would be awesome. No major damage, full feed canals and a higher lake.
