I thought I saw a thread a while back on a bra being developed for Marauder. Does anyone know if one is available and if so where?

Never heard of this, sounds interesting. Are there any pictures anywhere on the net?

No Rice Here!!!!!
The only picture I have is in the Accessories Catolog at my dealership. It only shows a picture of a Grand Marquis, not a Marauder.

I have read that these things - even when installed properly - can easily rub off/damage your paint job.
With all of the comments on the, <ahem> paint quality we have on our MMs, does anyone know if this will cause a problem?
I know to keep it dry, and if it ever gets wet to take it off immediately and dry the car, then allow the bra to dry completely before putting it back on. I'm just talking about normal use with precautions.
Anyone heard of this problem? I kind of like the look a bra would have in the mind's eye, but don't want to screw up my paint (which from the factory is fairly decent from what I can tell)
Thanks,
-A

I used to have one on my T-Bird. If you don't leave it on for long lengths of time and keep a good wax on it, it should be fine. Just don't leave it on after several rains. My car was red and it never stain or discolored my car.

WOW....I should check on this. Odd though, as the mask for the Gran Marquis comes no where close to fitting the MM.
BTW: Eclipse covers has failed to come through with their MM mask. If you gave a deposit, get it back!

There is a specific bra for a Marauder, they just don't show a picture of it. RAY

You are so right! I called....the number is MM specific.
The downside: It's not available. So far it's just a nice thought and some scribble of numbers and letters.
Just like the rest of the parts I wish I could aquire....just a thought and a number.
Thanks for the 411 though, I'll save the number.

Also ordered one today from dealer, dealer cost is around $80.00 but is supplied by outside vendor. I told them to put a rush on it since the Texas run is drawing near...

Thanks, I'll order one today (if available). I only plan on using it during a trip. As for wax, I should have stock in Zaino products.

Please post pics after you get it. I am not a huge fan of bras but feel the paint protection may be worth it.
Thanks

Just out of curiousity, why not consider a clear film front-end treatment ?
Something like this (http://www.xpel.com/products/shop.asp?prevyear=2003&prevmake=27&prevmodel=0&prevsubmodel=0&prevseries=0&year=2003&make=27&model=764)
*A bit pricey, but IMO more unobstrusive than a bra.

I'll install it on a Marauder and take a picture of it. RAY

could one of you guys who were able to successfully order the bra please let me know where you got it so I can try to use them also. I am hitting the brick wall up here. My dealer says that he called the accessory group and they claimed it was non existant.

If you install a bra when the car is new will it keep the bumper from sagging as it gets old? My wife says this is her problem.

Funny story. I ordered a bra for a female customer. I called to tell her it was in. I got her son who sounded about 14 years old, he said his Mother wasn't home. I asked him to tell her I got her bra. I can imagine when they sat down to dinner and he told her some guy called and said he's got your bra. Would have loved to see her husbands face!!!!
