Above 50MPH my Marauder wobbles all over the road?

I have dried up fronts, BFG 235 50 18's. I'm currently waiting for new ones, any day now.

Is this a typical problem with bad tires or could it be something else?

sounds like the belts shifted in the tires .Good thing it's not the rears you need in a hurry.

Recent alignment? Do you have a printout of the alignment? Where is the toe set? How many miles on the car? Any accidents or close calls w/ curbs? Is there any play in the center of the steering (dead zone) that would indicate a worn or maladjusted steering rack?

My MM is rock solid at any speed. With the limited information that you have provided, I would check 3 obvious things first. Air pressure (35 psi fronts)(38 psi rear), possible loss of a front wheel weight(s) from your last balance, or abnormal front tire wear (e.g. cupping, etc). It isn't normal or typical.

We also have bad roads, but the fast ones are usually the smooth ones.

I ordered up some new fronts a week ago with tirerack, should be here any day now.

Alignment needs to be done and was put off until the new fronts arrived. I've been staying off the fast roads for now, or staying under 80 kph 50 mph, which is not fun but surprisingly relaxing.

Car was fine with my snow tire on two weeks ago.

That used to be how I knew my car needed fronts. Pulled and rut steered bad.

I was wondering about the lug nuts too.

My Marauder needs only one loose nut.
