Is anyone besides me tired of all the rain from this storm? We have been in the outer bands all day long, getting saturated with rain and wind gusts. It's getting old. :mad2:

Hope all of our Florida and Sunshine State friends are weathering this storm well. I have seen reports of 25" to 30" of rain in some areas from TS Fay. No way can I imagine that much water in just 2-3 days. That is a year's worth of rain for most folks. Good luck and stay dry !!
SUNSHINE STATE ??? Yeah, right. ;) Maybe the state motto should be changed to "Fires or Floods". :jk: or not. :o

Hope you and all the rest of the Florida crew are safe. That's true, only as long as we can stay in the house. It's flooded all around us, and the rain is still coming. Luckily, the storm is at least moving now.

This is really GREAT for the Florida aquifer, fill er up! My horses are po'ed, hanging

I sure hope that as Fay travels slowly across northern Florida, those feeder bands can travel up to our friends in Georgia, and pay them back for all that water we borrowed. :mad2:
Enjoy bigmerc'03!

Never hear of an 'Alberta Clipper', but it sounds a lot like an Ozzy concert.

As I type, it is raining. . . again! Our streets did get a chance to clear up earlier today, and all of the water has drained off to the lakes. This morning, we walked the dog, and saw fish, snakes, crawfish, and mud puppies (I think) all over the road. It was rather odd, because we are not real close to a lake.
Anyhow, it looks like it is about over. I'm just glad to see that our friends to the north are getting back some of their water that we borrowed.
