A French driving game marketed by Parker Bros. Has anyone ever played this? I learned in the early seventies, in So. Calif., it was always a good time. The basics are a 1000 Km road trip where you are constantly hindered by your opponents, use of flat tires, speed limits, red lights, accidents, and out of gas. The game is just a deck of cards, and a card tray, easy to learn, and takes up no room. Try it you'll like it.

Played this all the time against my brother while growing up.
Also came on my dad's old 386 computer.
Got to love it when your opponent dishes out the speed limit and stop light on the same turn, and you bust out the right of way ace!

Someone should bring a deck to Marauderville. I too grew up playing that as a kid.

:D

You pay my way, and I'll bring my 1971 Vintage set with me. HaHa It is a great time, isn't it. When we were in the USMC we would play for hours on duty weekends.

The game goes back to the 1950's. I remember it from about 1958. The name means "One Thousand Mile(stones)", I think. :D

Yes, thats it. Not expensive, even children can play, and it's good leisurely fun.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past. I too, was only about 7 or 8 years old when I first played that.

Sounds like something to try at next year's Kentucky Meet.

I think we've played this game in person on some of our meets and not even using the cards. ;)

It's still available, at most Toy Stores, and other places at holiday time. I've seen them at Goodwill, & the Sally too.
