Well I painted my calipers blue yesterday and i think they came out great due to the advice of CRUZTAKER and his praise of the G2 caliper paint kit.

thanks, sean

How many coats were you able to do before the can started to gel up?

Looks good man!
A little windex and some specialty brushes on cool calipers clean them up nicely. I only need to detail mine every month or so.

I went red as you know, and was able to find one of those duplicolor little bottle with the brush in a color that matches really close. You will want to find a blue that matches close and carry in the car with you to fill the occational rock chip.

It's odd, but from time to time you will get a stone to hit hard enough to leave a mark. :depress:

Barry I got 3 coats on them before the paint started to harden, there was a lot left over too, I was a little nervous when I saw that tiny can but there was plenty, thanks for the tips

I did my SB's calipers with gloss black, but it was too shiny. I went over with semi-gloss, and it looks great. I may hit the pads with red to accent things a little.

Yeah i went red but it didn't look right so i did the pads in high heat silver and now i'm real happy.

Does anyone know if/what aftermarket (or Mustang) rear brake calipers fit the Marauder, and 99-02 Crown Vic, instead of the stock calipers. I'd like to focus on replacing the rears with a set that are pleasing to the eye, and functional. I measured the ctr-to-ctr brake caliper pin holes to be 91.3 mm, or 3.60 inches?

Sean I would of done black to offset the crome.

Blue is a little too flashy....?

Looks like a good paint job though.

If you take the calipers off and smooth them the finish would look better.
