With many thanks to Breadfan for posting the info, I went to Mason Dixon Dragway (http://www.masondixondragway.com/) on July 26th with NVMC. It was a lot of fun!
My best time was 13.982@ 97.69MPH, with a .256 Reaction Time & 2.063 60ft, at about 75°F & 64%RH.
I tired various launch methods and could not get it to go faster than 98mph at the trap. Even though I was accellerating through it.
I ran with 1/2 tank of Sunoco 93 & about 5 gallons of Sunoco GT 260 race fuel (http://www.sunocoinc.com/Site/Consumer/RaceFuels/UnleadedFuels/Sunoco260GT.htm) (as a safety margin) fueling up in Chambersburg, PA (http://www.sunocoinc.com/Site/Consumer/RaceFuels/260GT100Locations/Pennsylvania.htm)along my way there.
Check out my online photo and video album here (http://pasig.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=a lbum07).
A discussion about my runs on CVN here (http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1528853&fpart=1).
Open to any and all tips and suggestions!
Congrats bro, i haven't seen you post in awhile how ya been?

I'm doing fine, but my home PC is toast so I can't post. Got some kind of nasty hijacking virus. Any websites that I log into, the PC sends me to some anti-virus website that automatically downloads itself.
I tried to have Norton anti-virus block out the offender, now I get some blue screen message that winsys is corrupt.
I got the virus from some wheel website, while doing an image search for a certain Mustang wheel. That will teach me a lesson; never to visit an unknown website again!
At the moment, I'm using my Mother-in-law's PC. Time to get a new PC, with better anti-virus software.
I heard bad news about your engine, what was the issue? Is it repaired now?
I got to come to another CAM meet sometime, you guys are a lot of fun to hang out with.

Nice to hear from you!
I cannot believe it took this long to get you down the track.:D
Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
I really like that track.
As far as your pc, I got the same malware on my new compaq by clicking "add active-x plug-in" for a news video I was trying to view from an apparently unreliable source.
Once malware has spread by unintentionally welcoming it onto your computer, no software, and nothing other than manually editing your registry will remove it.
I merely backed up what few things were needed and booted from the shipping disk, reformatted, and started over.
Pretty good times Tom. I saw your post on the modular website the other day. Keep it up and it will go down from there!

Pretty good numbers and a trap of 98 sounds about right. I ran a 13.72 at 99.xx mph.
To fix your computer, pick up a copy of Webroot's Spy Sweeper from Best Buy.

Car looks and sounds great! Just finished reading your DOHC conversion article, it's what I originally wanted to do, but also wanted forced induction, couldn't afford both. Was wondering, with the Cobra manifolds, did you just use a Mustang H or X-pipe? Wasn't sure if the Mustang manifolds would clear the frame rails as well as the pipe. Any info would help, I can't find anyone that makes headers for a 98-02 2v Panther (not that I'm suprised). Was told by Kooks that the 03+ headers they make for the 2v will not clear the "rediculously narrow frame rails" on the 98-02 car.
We put Kooks on my 95 and it was a major challenge. Had to cut one completly apart!
Sorry for the Hi Jack Tom.

Thanks for the compliment! The "Cobra Manifolds" and the X-pipe were both modified by Dennis Reinhart and is sold on his website here (http://reinhartautomotive.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=12345&Product_Code=CV-CE&Category_Code=2) as a kit. I do not know exactly what is modified, maybe just give him a call.
