So i decided to straight pipe the GT and leave the exhaust dumped at the axle :banana2:

The results were amazing - god i love the way it sounds now!

This is at 1/4 throttle http://upload.streetfire.net/video/Mustang-GT-Straight-pipe_179848.htm

Oh - only thing i have to do now is get some custom hangers made :burnout:

In the video it sounds pretty good. Maybe in person it sounds even better.

A lot of folks spend money on lease cars around here.

What happens when you turn it in? Do they penalize you for butchering the exhaust? Once, they gave me ***** for returning a car with tints. I told them that I spent over $250 and that they are within the legal limit so it should be an improvement. After that, no mods on leases!

The stock exhausts are in the trunk until further notice...

The great part about this is i havent yet purchased anything. its just sitting dumped at the axle. Surprisingly there is ZERO drone on the highway at any speed!

I'll get better video later on today. (sorry for the blair witch camera-man skills lol)

And OH YES, it sounds MUCH better in person!

Exhaust system on the Mustangs are clamped from the factory, not sottered. Remove clamps and hanger mounts and viola! Insta-straightpipe dumps!

No big deal Lenny, just a spelling mistake:

A solder is a fusible (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusible_alloy) metal alloy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alloy) with a melting point or melting range of 90 to 450 °C (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celsius) (200 to 840 °F (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahrenheit)), used in a process called soldering (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldering) where it is melted to join metallic surfaces. It is especially useful in electronics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronics) and plumbing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plumbing). Alloys that melt between 180 and 190 °C are the most commonly used.
The word solder comes from the Middle English (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_English) word soudur, via Old French (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_French) solduree and soulder, from the Latin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin) solidare, meaning '‘to make solid’'. Solder can contain lead and or flux but in many applications solder is now lead free.
