I have to hit the unlock/lock button 2 or 3 times to watch the rear door locks "crawl" up or down. Any ideas?

My right rear recently started doing that and now it won't go up or down at all, though it does work fine if you manually push or pull it up and down. I pulled the door cover and checked the electrical connection to the lock solenoid, made sure the little rods were connected and free, and even lubed everything up. Still no joy. When I press either the lock buttons in the car or the keyfob I can hear the solenoid trying to actuate, but it just doesn't seem to have any oomph.
Looks like you have to drill out rivets to get the old assembly out. Not real thrilled about that. Might be lazy and take it to the dealer and have them do it.

My left rear did that awhile back. I had it replaced under my extended warranty.

My left rear has done that for along time now. I took iit to the dealer when under warranty and they replaced the right one not the left! According to them at the time the left was fine and the right was bad. They are a little slow sometimes!

All four of mine were replaced, either under regular or extended warranty. It seemed to be primarily a cold weather problem for mine.

Try some WD-40. Worked on an old beater I had once...

Could be the lock linkages require some lubrication. My driver side seems to work intermittently, depending on the weather, and sometimes not at all. Its gotten to the point where I don't trust this lock at all, and I want to visually see it work before I leave the car.
When I have time, I want to pull the door panel and try re-lube all linkages and the catch assy. Hopefully this would help. Also, I don't trust WD-40 as it evaporates quickly. Use a spray on "white lithium" type grease instead.

Check your local FLAPS and online places like Rock Auto, etc.
