View Full Version : CAR Motorsports trunk lid liner mounting tips?

Finally received my CAR Motorsports trunk lid liner today.

It's definatley not plug and play and I don't think the 2-sided velcro will hold it up. It also is flat and does not contour to the trunk's various curves.

Mine did not come with push pins or have holes in place for them.

To those who have this item, how did you mount it?

Mine came with push pins. The velcro will not hold it up. I had to drill some of the holes in the trunk lid frame for the push pins, can't remember if I drilled holes in the liner or if they were already there?

I didn't get I mine from CMS but I did have to attach it with 1/4 inch push rivets. You can get the rivets from any NAPA store. Had to drill 4 holes in the trunk stiffeners, hales were already in the liner.
