Here's a vid of my 632 CID Chevelle (still unfinished though).
Just a start up vid. Please excuse the bird's nest of wires under the hood,(some of them are temporary anyway) and the rear bumper SS pad that fell off. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif But this car isn't finished yet, so there's more finishing touches that have to be done (quite a few actually).

For the audio to do any justice to the present exhaust note at all, you'll need some decent speakers with the volume turned up (preferably with a subwoofer included to get some bass out of it ). The skinny front tires and wheels won't be staying on the car either. I have the engine idling at 900 RPM in the vid.

Billy,

Very nice. I'm gonna crank it up in the garage where the '67 is sitting with no motor, and pretend that it's mine running! Sort of car "lip sync". ;)You're getting very close. Looking great! Been just too busy with work to get much time on mine, but hopefully by late fall. Trying to get stuff done so I can go up north for a moose hunt on the 23rd of this month (just finished up last years meat, and need to restock, hopefully).

WOW,
Great job on the car. Building a car like that takes time money and a tone of drive!

Congrats on a great looking/sounding pavement killer,
P

Thanks guys. yeah, it sure does take time and $$...it's been a long journey, and I still have some ways to go. Gotta get the hydroboost in for the brakes, the rest of the exhaust, and the fuel cell, along with the wiring harness. .....getting there. I'm probably gonna end up replacing those "Hardcore" valvecovers with some retro looking finned ones that I just bought.

Pete, you might just get yours on the road before mine. I hope to get it all together by the fall too. But only time will tell.

Thanks guys. Jim, you're right about the shadow gray color. Many more of them are seen with the lighter shade of "Cortez Silver". As far as the year of the car being a 70, I've noticed that for some reason, that year has become the most popular Chevelle. I'm not sure why, because IMO I think both the 68's and the 69's are just as nice looking if not more so. But for whatever reason, the 70 Chevelle has become the 57 Chevy of old. They seem to draw the biggest sale prices out of any other year Chevelle. I dunno, maybe it's the bulged cowl induction hood, or the racing stripes.

Thanks guys. With the open headers the thing definitely shakes the ground. One day last week when I was running it for about 20 minutes, a guy who lives a halfmile away pulled into the driveway because he wanted to get a closer look. He said that he could hear it from his house! And that's just by keeping it under 3,000 RPM!
