As gas temporarily retreats from from four bucks per gallon, it might be nice to put it into context (based on what else can be priced at a per gallon price). The following list is based on prices in Broomfield, Colorado in July 2008, and is courtesy of the Journal of Improbable Research (http://www.improbable.com).

Yes.... it needs to be put into a "used per week" or somthing of the sort context ;)

You can't see it but he's standing on several gallons in "box" form.

BTW I know it's good beer not good wine, but Keystone Ice in 12pk cans is $4.44/gallon, and qualifies as "high test"
