WOW! Insta-boost...

I figured it would be hard to stay out of boost when I was first trying to get it running. I blipped the throttle a few times when firing it up and it showed 5 lb of boost (electronic boost gauge with memory).

I pulled the hood off today because the body shop was supposed to have my cowl-scooped hood done (but it wasn't finished). At least with no hood it was driveable since the stock hood wouldn't close due to blower interference. I drove it to town to fill up the gas tank so I could check for leaks in my new fuel hat setup. No leaks so far! The new pumps were very erratic in pressure regulation at first so I loaded the PIDs for the GT(40) and the fuel pump voltage table for the Cobra into my tune and it seems much better. It easily broke the rear tires loose without trying and without getting into boost.

On the way home I stomped it to about half-throttle on takeoff. Instant squalling tires and all sort of nonsense. Checked the boost gauge memory and it says it hit 14 psi. I assume it will go even higher when I really get into the throttle. Gotta make sure the spark tables are really conservative.

Not a clue yet. I'll be happy to get kicked off the track for going too fast (no roll bar). I expect over 700 rwhp.

Anything lower than 11.49's and you're doomed without a cage or fire jacket (at my track)

Just practice you're 1/8th then when your ready to give it hell go for glory!!

Already have the fire jacket. As per NHRA rules, a non-OEM supercharger requires it. But yeah, 11.49 requires a roll bar or cage.

I'll probably get kicked out for the 1/8th too, I ran 7.52 in the 1/8th on the ProCharger setup and they told me 7.50 requires a roll bar.

It'll take a lot of practice to launch, so I'll probably work on the 60's for a bit.

At our tracks, anything with an aftermarket power adder needs a fire suit no matter h fast (or slow) it runs

The Trilogy TS will get you 480-500rwhp on 13-14psi on a built 4.6 stroker (300cid). He's got a stoker big-bore 324cid with a monster Whipple 3.4 s/c.

Glad your current setup is working so far... and rollbars aren't that bad for a daily driver, just be sure to get swingouts! Then again there's always creativity and foam covered PVC piping. :)

It will make that kind of power if an idiot is tuning it.
That setup should make 530-550 EASY.

Edit: I made 520/465 with 14psi, T-Trim, STOCK MOTOR.
