WOW! Insta-boost...
I figured it would be hard to stay out of boost when I was first trying to get it running. I blipped the throttle a few times when firing it up and it showed 5 lb of boost (electronic boost gauge with memory).
I pulled the hood off today because the body shop was supposed to have my cowl-scooped hood done (but it wasn't finished). At least with no hood it was driveable since the stock hood wouldn't close due to blower interference. I drove it to town to fill up the gas tank so I could check for leaks in my new fuel hat setup. No leaks so far! The new pumps were very erratic in pressure regulation at first so I loaded the PIDs for the GT(40) and the fuel pump voltage table for the Cobra into my tune and it seems much better. It easily broke the rear tires loose without trying and without getting into boost.
On the way home I stomped it to about half-throttle on takeoff. Instant squalling tires and all sort of nonsense. Checked the boost gauge memory and it says it hit 14 psi. I assume it will go even higher when I really get into the throttle. Gotta make sure the spark tables are really conservative.
