Bumping the thread.

I think the Crusher inlet is gonna be a real treat under my hood. The wiper cowl assembly will be in need of some 'tweaking' to say the least.

I saw that tire distortion explained yesterday on ESPN during NHRA...they showed it on a top fuel dragster and said that it squares the back end of the tire because when the tire comes around to the ground, one: it has a wider foot print than when the car is standing still, and B: when the foot print is on the ground the tire slows down and the back of the tire is trying to catch up to the speed of the front of the tire...or something like that.....the drag cars also only use 6 psi in the tires compared to what you use to drive on the road everyday above 30 psi in comparison...

When I raced I used between 10 and 12 PSI. Like riding on a wet sponge at 120 MPH at the end of a run. Kinda an uneasy feeling.

I see that you are going to use that 'Crusher' intake and turn your OEM rods back to 'powdered metal'?!

:P

How much boost are you going to throw at it?

No Joe, that's what happens when you have detention in a cylinder from a safe tune. If you don't understand call me so I can take care of this, this is a simple fix.

Good choice, Zack. From what I've read, the Whipple has a reliability reputation/advantage over the Lysholm twin screw unit, not to mention price. I couldn't come up with the reference, but there's reported bearing failure and heat issues affecting longevity, with the Lysholm units, as I recall. :)
