Well I know that I'm going to get a lot of heat with this question bringing up GM but here it goes. Is there anything special about a 94-96 Cadillac sedan deville? I hear it has a corvette engine? My uncle brought it up to me since we're both die hard marauder fans without a marauder and are trying to find something that can tickle the senses in the time being. Does anyone know what they can put out, and please be modest on how you feel iti performs against a marauder. Thanks.

*Specifically the deville concourse, that seems to have similar spec to the Marauder. 4.6 around 300 hp, 300 lbs tq.

I wasn't aware that the '94 - '96 Vette engines were anything special, though, and the NorthStar motors are crap and should be avoided. But if it's the 350 they put in the Buick/Chevy/Pontiac/Caddy, would be a good start. Just look at the following the Caprice SS has.

It's an LT1 not the same engine from the vette but close. Two bolt block instead of four(vette) different heads and cams. But the kicker is the unrealliable distibutor behind the water pump called opti for short. Good engine great gas miliage and 350 cubes and 300HP for the vette @260 for others. Mine is in a 92 vette conv. and gets 25mpg running around town.

They would be on our heals for sure. My cousin has a 96 Caprice LT1 (former cop car) and its really quick even with a 160K on the clock.

I think you are confusing the Fleetwood Brougham 93-96 with the Sedan Deville.
