Hi all, been awhile since ive hung out here because its warm out and ive been using the motorcycle alot. Well I knew the marauder was in need of new spider gears and about a week ago it felt like the car was starting to skip a tooth on the gear or something. Well friday i took the car out and went to the grocery store, when i left i could feel something like i was hitting small bumps or something, but i wasnt moving. So i drove a litte, then stopped the car, tryed shifting to see what that happend, first N, jump was still there, then R, jump was still there...then this scared me, i put it in park and the car still jumped.

Best way i can explain the problem, feels like im going over bumps. But this is when the car is stopped.
Or another way to think of it is having a big sub in the car and it kicking.

Id say this happens every 5 seconds or so, dont really feel it the faster you are going.

Engine? Trans? Diff?

I havent beat the car hard in months, just driving to work when weather is bad. I am a mechanic, all services and that are done early and often.

ok finally got around to working on it...easy problem to fix. I have had a JLT cai for some time now...over a 2 years i think. The hose that comes off was 2 long and has started pushing the valve open and fluid was leaking out, and down into the coil cover, affecting the 2 COP. Ill prolly replace all COP and make sure no fluid gets down there again

Not my car, just a pic of a rauder with the JLT

oh and the way i fixed it was let the area dry out, old COP still worked, spark plugs still looked great...
