you probably know him best from his 80's solo fame, but clevelanders know and take pride in the band that made him famous: the raspberries.

one of my friends was actually a witness to the whole thing, and he said "he swerved into my lane. i thought he was going to make me lose control (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zajTU5h_YGM) !!!" but apparently, someone had told eric "party's over" (http://backtovinylrecords.com/images/items/full/RASBERRIES4.jpg) and he still had hungry eyes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI4fzajz3Ok) for that bottle of grey goose. i don't recommend drinkin' and drivin' around (http://www.musicobsession.com/Pictures/r/a/raspberries367945.jpg), especially if you tried to go all the way (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BlZ9p4c5yk) home. let's pretend (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTELLAzVtxg) that he was sober: do you think would he have made it home? hey, at least he didn't take a bunch of ecstasy (http://www.lyricstime.com/raspberries-ecstasy-lyrics.html) and try to get fresh (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7e/Fresh_raspberries.jpg/200px-Fresh_raspberries.jpg) with the cops.
