...make a retro rear wheel drive, V-8 powered sedan, that's closely resembles a 641/4 Galaxy 500 XL, I would buy one, would you.

Wasn't that a 63 1/2 that came with the round tail lights? This i would like to see happen. Forget mustang and look back to the bigger ones Ford!

The 641/2 had a deck lid that was raised about 3/4" from the top of the fenders, the 63s deck lid was recessed below the top of the tail lights, and fenders. The 64 was the last of the round tail light cars, they started in 57, in 65 they went to that rectangle style, although the 65 standard ford, (i think it was called a "custom" had some chrome trim over them that made them appear round, and I believe that the Fairlane had round lenses in 65.

Neck snapping power even out of the 390 4bbl, fantastic 4 spd., I also had a 57' 292, automatic that I really liked.

Actually i think it was the 390, can't seem to remeber now. But anyways something comparable to that (and not another reworked panther) something completely old school would be nice to see.

I would buy one if they designed and made it looking like a '67 Galaxie.

The 67' was one of those big square fender things, like pushing a shoe box uphill, although wasn't that the start of the old 7 liter fords, nice engine. I,m still partial to the 641/2.

Nice looking 67 LTD, there Adam. It is not as boxy as the 65-66 style Galaxies.

Thanx for the pics, however, can they be reduced to a smaller size? (Moderators?)

My Mom had a 66 Galaxie 500 7-Litre Special Edition Convertible. 4-speed and it would haul butt. I can remember being in it with her and an Uncle and she was doing 120MPH. She loved that car!
