Zack I know you have pics of yours with them lights lit up but do you have any with them off and up close? I have a friend who does a lot of stuff with LEDs (going to convert my gauge cluster and other things to LEDs) and I told him I was interested in doing a LED 3rd brake light when I get a spoiler.
Or anyone else that has a LED trunk deck lid spoiler?
The pics are on the last page of my gallery, but come up as red x's now :bigcry:
Good luck with the project

I saw them just fine, I didn't know if you had any up close shots of them with the lights off. That's what my friend was looking for. Thanks I'll post up pics and stuff when I change the interior coloring. Was thinking just stay green but after seeing my friends car which is blue I'm torn between blue and red now.

Hotrauder has pics of his in his Gallery. The two pics below are ones I took of his car. I have the pics 2x as big if you need a closer look.

How do those mount?
How do those mount?
They are installed from the inside...many access holes need to be made in the back, then mended back together.
Short story, PITA to make.

And it looks like something that could be completely stock which is another reason why I like it.

Could he have used red LEDs to match the paint when they weren't on? MAybe he likes how they look when not on, though.

99% of LED's are clear when not illuminated

IIRC...some Cadillacs have a string of LEDS on their rear spoiler for a third brake light.
They look really cool at night and they DEFINITELY get your attention when they light up!

Need all the attention we can get here in MD. On my way into work this morning while I was on 70 some Buick van/suv thing rear ended a Ford Escape, I was stuck in traffic for like half an hour sitting on the ramp from 32 to get onto 70. Once I got passed the accident it was clear sailing and I was rolling lol.

it might be easier to use cadi light if it's thin enough
