My MM just earned it's first Purple Heart

I got home yesterday from the mall and found that some blankty-blank must have backed into me and punched a hole the size of a golf ball in the front bumper and the top of the bumper above it is all scuffed up. Of course no one left a note and I didn't realize it had happened until I got home.

Anybody know a good body shop in Atlanta to take it to?

My rear bumper cover cost $637, I'd say the front one is going to run about the same.

I heard the front bumper was around $1200 bucks WHOLESALE! I'll double check my source.

1200 bummers. Normally, I do park well away from the other cars, but I had my kids with me and didn't want them to have to walk that far in the parking lot. I thought I was in a good enough space away from the main body of cars, but I guess I was wrong on that.

Anybody know if the plastic part of the bumper can be patched?

Thats just ashame how people can just do that and have no conscious what so ever. You cant miss a big car like the Marauder on purpose. I feel the same way you do, :mad2: .

LIST price on the cover is $1198 bucks last time I checked.

Go to http://www.fordpartsonline.com/ and order it, you'll get it for about half that if you don't have anyone who can get it at cost for you...

You might also want to check THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33640&item=2431401671) auction on ebay... It'd at a minimum need paint, but is cheap enough to justify it.

Good luck with the repairs. From what you said about the hole some body knew they hit it. hard to belive, still sucks..

I had a drunk back into me and had a crack and dented my front bumper. The repaired and repainted it. But they also had to replace the absorber also, so you might want to have that checked out.
