I took one on last week, no big deal. Got it on video, but need a Quicktime editor program to cut out all the crap of the 13 minutes we drove, to put up the 30 seconds of him dropping the hammer, and me right behind him. He never could pull away. These cars are over-rated. In 2 years, they'll be just like the 05 Mustang....everywhere.

well i mean lets be honest, there are just not a whole lot of american cars these days to get excited about. all the luxury vehicles are plain, build inside american cars is cheap to say the least, there is really not a whole lot to get excited about.

when you compare the look of american cars to japanese and european manifacturers, what can you really say about them?

american auto industry seems like its waking up a bit dough, and i am looking forward to some of the stuff that is going to be coming out, but untill than.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... .zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...zzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hah! my six year old car plus $3500.00 play money and i'm a second faster. I do love it but could not see driving it untill heavilly modded. I would have to imagine that every light you come to someones wanting to challenge because everybody knows what they have. Unlike the MM they don't have a faster color:lol: I know because i have now taken a black and an orange. They seemed equally slow to me:D

I love how people are saying its slow, and a S/C marauder is faster. I have said it before and will say it again. One your S/C a marauder you are in a different league entirely, your car is customized, its tuned to a T, and its rediculous to compare it to a FACTORY tuned and stock anything.

Thats like a pro football player laughing at high school players or even college players.

Tuned and blow the Hemi and see who is eating who. Seriously its insane. You can not compare Forced Induction and custom tune to a factory NA. Both cars are in the same price range more or less when they were first offered, Marauders 28 to 32ish. This car is 36 and you get way more motor. Give this car 5 years and let the tuners and shops catch up and take it apart and make improvments and see where we stand then.

certainly it is silly to compare it to modded cars, because modded cars run along a very vast spectrum. It still doesn't change that for the top of the line the SRT-8 is painfully slow... I can't even imagine the R/T :shake:

HHHmmm. 6.1 hemi compared to 4.6 modular both factory yeah that sounds fair. NOT.

425 h.p. compared to 302 h.p. still not seeing it.

Low geared six speed manual compared to factory unmodified 4 sp. auto. Where is this a fair fight?

These two cars were NEVER in the same class! I simply up'ed the anty and oooops slid right past their numbers. Moral of the story they have an awesome platform to build on, but the bragging that we have had to hear for the last ????? years about this supposedly supercar that isn't should be made a little more public. Even a 12.92 i don't consider my car fast, quick sure, but surely not a race car like these newfound owners think.

with the automatic, $43290.00, $44085.00 with the 6spd
Don't have a pile of options with the srt package.

I do believe I have a LOT less in my modded Marauder.....

But.... I'd STILL like one of those Challengers
