View Full Version : Can Dom (Motorhead350) get his own forum?

You could call it:
"Motorhead350's Port-o-Potti"
Then members and non-members can view it if they want to or just ignore it. Then Dom could post what he wanted within the rules of the site and then people can stop b*tching about the contents of his posts.

Proves how weak they are by making fun of others.
This is funny.

Why call it a "Port-0-Potti"...????
I would call it the "Dom's thread & post diarrhea dump"
And why would we want to reward someone who obviously annoys many members, with his own 'Forum'...?
BTW: Crazy as this may sound...I like to read about cars, engines, modding and particularly about Marauders on my MARAUDER website.

Well, you can always start your own Marauder site?
...or...
You can put Dom on your ignore list
...or...
Dom can have his own forum and you don't have to visit it.
Who loves ya Joe? ;)

Then,
I guess I will just ignore his next thread describing the color of his latest bowel movement, and Dom asking if this is normal....:D

That is some funny stuff.
Trust me, I "used" to have a big problem with some of the stuff posted here. However, I have noticed that even those with the worst or most odd posts are "interesting" people nevertheless.
We don't have to agree and even without an ignore button, one could still ingore their thread.
I, even though I argued with some for their posts, say leave them be. Their threads get a lot of views and responses (even from me at times) so I guess that many find the threads entertaining.
Just my 2C.

I can put up with Doms threads rather then the other useless babbling thread starter from Canada. ;)

I really don't think it's necessary for me to have my own section and wouldn't this cost everyone more money for the "space"? I don't want to bring anymore costs into a site that has never seen a dime for me. I want to donate I really do. When I put in the $125 then I think it's time we can all consider me having an area, but right now I don't think that would be fair.

Amen on that. I'm a newbie here and try to not pi**off the longtime users however I have noticed a lot of babble not even automobile related or interesting to read. I have this particular member on ignore however it does not block the threads he starts. If that is a feature I have not found it. Rick

Dom doesn't bother me. Sometimes I appreciate the off center distractions. I think things are fine the way they are. If you give him his own forum, he will most likely just get worse. :)

It's a symbiotic relationship judging from the number of views and replies to his threads. He gets something out of it and members indicate, with their time and attention, that they do too. ;) This being the case, may I gently and respectfully suggest consideration be given to becoming contributing member(s) at some point? (for those that have not yet voted with their wallet)

^^^^^^^ Very good point ^^^^^^^^
Shouldn't those that use and benefit from this site the most, also contribute some $$$ towards its' continuing operation?

Good idea, but only if we can rig up a Ninja spell and grammar checker. The kind that will provide a small electrical shock via his keyboard whenever he mutilates the English language. May require building a new power plant or two, but well worth it.
