Besides the obvious appearance changes what else makes the marauder different from a cv or grand marquis?
just curious:confused:

The motor, suspension, and wheels are different. Also, the CV and GM get advertised the MM doesn't.

As menace stated the engine is the greatest difference. The Marauder has a 32 valve engine . Stock is has 302 HP.:D

There are many differences.
The biggest is the engine, drive train, exhaust, and suspension.
Then there are the obvious trim items. Interior trim differences, and the Marauder definitely has better leather in the seats.
they are not simply a CV/Marquis with a DOHC engine

I occasionally see an advertisement for the GM on TV but I can't recall EVER seeing an ad for the Crown Vic on tv. :( Kind of difficult for people to buy a MM if Ford keeps them a big secret, huh?

Yup! Very true. Maybe the Marauder Project Manager can tell us why in Ennis.

The most appealing thing about the Marauder is that it is rare. There is nothing on the market like it. Think about taking a normal daily drive , how many Mustangs do you see , how many Corvettes ? Both nice cars but not special because they have become pictures on a wall. The best thing that Lincoln Mercury did was to keep this car unique ! It will be very special and a head turner many years down the road.l
