Keyless Entry on Grand Marquis going crazy.

As some of you may know, We got WACKED with a bad rainstorm here last week (6 inches). It screwed up my Grand Marquis, (Marauder was in the garage;)). The keyless entry pad lights up by itself and in return lights up all the interior lights. Im thinking the pad is bad, but once again I turn to the professionals here to get your opinion. It seems that the 3/4 button does not work anymore, I get nothing when I hit that button. Maybe its sending a signal likes its being pressed? The other buttons seem to work.

What do you guys think, and anyone have any idea how to remove/replace the pad if thats the problem??

Replace the pad. It is no good. I had one where the 1-2 didn't work and I could not program my own code.
