I just got back to Washington. LVMarauder knew I was coming down for 2 nights but he didn't seem to be interested in a meet and greet. Next time I will let you all know when I'm coming.... Maybe it will be as soon as Jan/Feb. :)

That thing had fire coming out of the pipes when he would goose it and then let off. Wicked fast acceleration on an 80 MPH roll.

Lost Wages, I mean, Las Vegas! Hope you have a great trip!

We drug my dad along and spent Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Bellagio. Nice digs, but that is the most I've ever spent for a room that didn't have a coffee maker and complementary coffee.

Dad made $150, we lost $40. Did a lot of walking and our feet are still sore.

Not really. Played a little yes, race, no. Those kids have the $$$ to get their butts out of trouble, I don't. 110 is higher than I like to push it on public highways here. God I miss the autobahn...... :alone:

The Luxor is the next casino after Mandalay Bay on the left

That would be correct. We wanted to stay at the Paris but they were booked, so we stayed at the Bellagio. For Linda's first time in Vegas I wanted to be as close to the epicenter as possible.

All my Vegas pics are still on my old computer otherwise I'd post a few.

Did you see Hoover Dam? I was among the last groups to tour the powerhouses. Extremely cool.

We stayed at Treasure Island and IIRC that's across the street from the Belagio.

We didn't have time to take the dam tour. (I've always wanted to say that. :teeheehee:)

The Paris is across from the Bellagio. TI is a few blocks down. :)

At first I thought it was Toronto, what with the tower and the big hotel in back. I stayed there, once.
L.V. would be a great place for a Marauderville, but it's about cars, and just about everyone would have to fly in, what with the low priced air fares & all. Driving wouldn't be so bad for Barbie & me, because we're retired; but we're talking 6 days hard travel to make it, both ways, from the East coast, and who, back here can devote 10 days of vacation time, never mind the expense, for such an adventure?

I'll be passing through Las Vegas at the end of the month enroute to the desert in California ..... and Disneyland too. I the airport rental car company gets it right, I'll be in a Grand Marquis.

I'm about 6 hours away from Las Vegas. Sure would be nice to go to a Marauder event with less than 3 days of driving involved to get there. :D

I strongly agree with that, about 8-10 hours away for me

technically, St Louis is on the west bank of the Mississippi...

Vegas wouldn't be bad though...

Denver wouldn't be bad either...
