Who's done it?

Help the car's sound alot? I wouldn't think you'd pick up more than 2-3hp but I'd like to have the extra sound.

I have a guy that will do it for $50.00 with no receipt. He said it gets LOUD.

Now if I can just find someone local.....

Really? Even with the front cats and the factory muffs?

I had my rear cats removed when I had the magnaflows installed. Kept the factory tips. I wanted the car assertive, but not obnoxiously loud. This setup was based on the recommendations from the members here. I couldn't be happier with the results, though I really don't have another setup to compare it too, other than stock.

When I had my custom exhaust done I removed the rear cats & replaced the fronts with hi-flow cats. Can't tell if it's any louder because I also changed the mufflers, but I'm getting better gas mileage.

Thanks guys. I appricate the input. I just want a hair more "Beef" to it. She's already louder than my last MM. But just a little more wouldn't hurt. :)

I don't need it that loud. I also don't want to loose the back pressure and low end.

What size is the stock H-pipe tubing? 2.25? or 2"?

My custom exhaust was all done in 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel.

Yea but whats the stock size. All I want to do is just put some delete pipes in place of the rear cats.

This will hold me off untill I do the DR cobra exhaust.

If Jeremy does not take the trunk organizer I will if someone can store it till I come back for the Car Craft show next year.

Here's the info I recently posted in another thread:
This may answer your question.
Stock system pipes -OD measures
Manifold to CAT1 = 2 1/4 "
CAT1 to CAT2 = 2 1/2 "
H pipe = 2 " all
Muffler to Tips = 2 1/4 "

its not "loud"..I removed my rear cats and put delete tips on,with oem mufflers. It has a great low to mid RPM growl. Not really any differance at full throttle.Best part is no cabin droan.

All I have are 4'' tips and I can hear a difference when driving and starting up...but once I switch gears and sitting idle its gone...

Will it throw a code if you cut the converters off ?

Not if you just remove the rears. If you have a "tune" the rear cats aren't checked most likely.

No codes. The rear cats are after the rear o2 sensors so they do not get monitored.

I took a good look under the car tonight while I was doing the oil...

What kinda dope was Ford smoking when they designed that H-PIPE?!?!?!?!

The same one that designed them when the CV/GM went from box to current aero body style.

When I first joined up and got my Marauder four and a half years ago, I went to a meet up at Hallsville at the racetrack. Jeremy (Muslhed) had his car than and had put on 18" Magnaflows and taken off the rear cats. That car sounded VERY nice.
