Cruising to a meeting last night, I saw one of these on the thruway....

As I was along side. I waved out the open moon roof and gave a thumbs-up. Guy looked at me kinda funny like. I passed him a bit. I hear him speed up and pulls along side again. Points at me, give me a thumbs up.

I think he thought I was a copper or something at first. Then, when he saw it was a Marauder and DRAGCITY on the plates, he realized I had a rare car too. Man, one of 1,000 made. Was a sweet Super Bee. Don't see those every day.

Very Nice, I see some of the wild versions of those dodges around the city, and I gotta give it up and say were it not for the MM I'd be "one a' dem charger boys!" heh but luckily that's a problem for some alternate reality me.

1000? Are you kidding? I see these all over chicagoland everyday. I honestly thought it was considered mid grade between the R/T and the SRT8.

Yeah, I wouldn't trade my Marauder for one, but props to it are in order.

My research said there were only 1,000 made.??

The weather has been pretty nice here the past week. I saw a Lotus Elise yesterday. Let's not forget, I live in Depressed Buffalo, NY. AKA, Dragcity....

Unique cars are few and far between. I only know of one other Marauder out this way, in Niagara Falls.

I saw one at a dealer once and one of the rims didn't match... one wasn't chrome. They said it was a factory error and it was the only one of it's kind. :shake: Still I kinda like it.

A week or so ago I saw what (to me) was a strange sight. It was a brand spanking new Dodge Challenger at the automated car wash! I was there with the MM because I just had back surgery and could not wash it myself. If I had a brand new Chanllenger I sure wouldn't be at the car wash - I'd be home caressing it with the wash mitt! The guy looked young and healthy. I was surprised. Also it was the first time I saw one in the flesh in the hands of a customer. It looked quite nice.
