Ok, I'm a noob when it comes to air suspensions.

We have shocks and air?


Yup, look through one of your rear wheels, you'll see it

maybe it will help if you think air replaces the springs so shocks are required .

Or maybe not

I would agree with the shock diagnosis. If OEM, one or both are shot.

Good news is it's a quick, easy, and innexpensive repair. Mine failed at 35,000 mi.

Is there a perfered aftermarket shock?
Go with the OEM
