Now this is a really nice :bows:4-door car. Incredible 556 HP SC 6.2 liter motor with a choice of an auto or 6 speed. 6 Speed for me on this rocket. A bit pricy though....Now I would love to see Ford match this baby:rolleyes:.

That is one sick caddy, ford should release a twin turbo Lincoln MKS to spice things up.

Twin turbo MKS, coming right up!!!! (next spring, probably) But you aren't gonna get any magnetic ride suspension on the Linc. Personally I like the looks of the MKS over the CTS.

Ford has an engine with twin turbos now with a 6 cyl. A MKS with that setup would be cool. Wouldn't make the HP as the CTS-V but would compensate with better fuel mileage. Kinda the best of both worlds for a driver. It seems that their high performance arena seems only to be with the Mustang. Too bad....it is going hurt them in this small market though:mad:

I kinda like the XLR. And it comes in the V-series also. Saw a red one that was supercharged, and it was pretty awesome.

First time I saw an XLR in person was in a parking lot at an Applebees. Friends were waiting for me inside, but it took me like 10 minutes to pry myself away from the XLR. What a beautiful piece of machinery. Sex on wheels.

I'd rather have a MKS than a CTS as well. But as for the XLR...would rather have a C6 Z06.

While we picked up our new '08 CTS 4 in August the salesman said he had already sold several CTS-V's even before any date of delivery was finalized.....i hate to say it but i can see myself trading my Marauder and CTS for one of these in a few years.

The XLR-V is a wicked and beautiful car. I have worked on and driven a couple at the dealership. Pricey though, an XLR stickers around 72K and the Vs are 100K.

During our Kentucky meet last year, we toured the Corvette plant in Bowling Green. We saw the XLR made on an adjacent production line! Sweeet!!!

This exterior picture is the same as my MKS that I've had for about 3 weeks. I have the light camel interior with the olive ash wood.

Just returned last night from a little trip where I put 500 miles on the car. Car drives great and is extremely quiet. The technology on this car is unbelievable.

The power is adequate (But probably not for a MM owner). The ecoboost would be nice, but I fell in love with the car and decided not to wait until next year for it.

C&D magazine just tested the MKS and said it was "totally boring to test". Aside from what car journalists say - I think pretty much most cars are just boring A-to-B boxes with all the engineering money spent on safety - you know, the thing you MIGHT use only once. I would rather have an exciting dangerous car than a boring safe car any day. I was trying to pin down where the MKS taillights look familiar from; the last gen Hyundai XG350 had similarly fugly ones. Regardless, I am a Ford guy but the new cars from Cadillac make me drool. I am curious to see if they follow previous Cadillac cars- look and feel old when they're 5 years old and look happily at home in "the hood".

Where is Mercurys re-born Marauder with a aluminum 5.4L DOHC engine lifted from the Shelby GT500?

XLR's are pretty. My marketing guy has one. They're wicked tiny inside and hard for my fat arse to get in and out of.

I just gave him his vanity plate last week. "XLR-8".

That is what I would like to see^^^^^^ They could use the MKS platform, rear drive, with a new generation Marauder with a 5.4 SC Cobra motor. Only a dream :shake:, Ford won't do it. Even if it cost in the mid-60's they would sell (spent more than that on my car:eek:).

But for now my Marauder has more HP than the new CTS V anyway. I still like my car better than anything else out there for a four-door, luxary, muscle car.

Well as long as ford doesn't bring back the Marauder as a FWD econo car..cough(impala)cough. But yes a totally new platform and drivetrain with sick power is what ford needs to bring the MM back in, and soon.

I just finished reading the link on that new CTS-V!!

What a wicked 4 door sedan!

I wonder who will be the first to bolt on the Vette's bigger 2.9L Blower and have a 650 HP CTS-V!?!..

BTW: I saw in the engine photo that it has TWO intake tube 'snorkles'.
They would have to removed and plugged, just like we did with the Marauder's 'J shaped intake snorkle'.;)
