The rear diff is broken. Does anyone know where I can buy an upgraded one(just in case I do forced induction later on)? The factory ones are on backorder and I do not want to buy a used one. Thank you!

Order one from an 03/04 Cobra. 31 spline and carbon clutch packs.

I've seen about 4 reports of axle shafts breaking by the differential. Could this be another?

I have a used differential that needs clutches + pinion shaft and a pair of axle shafts for sale.

Order one from an 03/04 Cobra. 31 spline and carbon clutch packs.

You'll need 31 spline axles too.

I just bought a set of axles from RoyLPita... smooth transaction, quick shipping. Installed the axles yesterday!

The rear end has metal shaving in it, and a couple of bearings are shot because the seal broke and it was leaking. Suggestions? Thanks!

Overhaul the rear with new bearings, cups and seals. Maybe spider gears.

You need to get a hold of a good axle shop in your area and get it fixed.

It started from a leak due to "wear and tear," and I was not aware of it until it was too late.

You guys sould see the pics of my friends rear end. 6700rpm launch on 12" slicks with his Mach. It hooked and the rear axle shattered like glass taking the entire diff with it. Now, 03/04 Cobra rear diff, FMS 31 spline axles... He should be good to go!
