I placed this question in the off topic category, because it seems Zack is now off topic and is no longer related to us. Was this based on recent events? Was this based on an accumulation of comments and has reached it's boiling point? Is it personal Zack v. uhhh... a grudge? Is it because he does good work at a discounted price? Is Zack sitting in the corner for being a bad boy, is he grounded, or banned and no longer allowed? Why? Why? Why? I know some people dislike him, some say he's a know it all, some say conceited, or maybe just to upfront/blunt! Out of curiosity I/we "at least some of us" are really curious on what just happened here.

Don't know the personalities involved in this conflict. Never done business with them. I have read all the relevant threads. What jumps out at me is the degree to which posts turned into personal attacks and the flames were fanned until the rest of us were witnessing an inferno that has not been pretty to watch. On the face of it, it's understandable that those involved in the GB were upset and confused by what happened. An explanation and apology were given. Assurance that the "gray area" would be clarified was made. IMHO that should have been the end of it IF everyone extended a bit of goodwill and were willing to take people at their word. If anyone had a personal ax to grind after that, perhaps it should have been done in private. This forum has too many good people and too much great information to be ripped up like this. ;)

Zack has been very helpful to me and others on this site, whether he is wrong or right I don't know but its time to act and think like adults and do what is rigth for the merucymarauder.net community.

No. Zack is a part of MM.net as much as Bunny, Dennis, Mike (all of them), Killjoy, Bob, Steve, etc. You don't remove a major organ from the patient then tell the patient "you'll be fine". I will not be fine. We will not be fine. I feel this way even if it would have been anyone else. I have ridden Zack about being a little beyotch about this (being a human and having emotions) and even had him convinced (I think) to go to Seymore this year anyway. Then this. No, it is not time to "keep moving", there is something to see here, and I'm afraid it may be time to pull the sheet over the patients head and pronounce death. Zack isn't my leader, I do not have a skull full of mush, but he is a part of why I am here, for the technical information, just as everyone else is. This forum exists for the useful exchange of knowledge. Zack, like all of us, can be stubborn and bullheaded about things, but it is that passion in EVERYONE that makes them real, not a phony. I am lucky, I live nearby and can still access his knowledge, but for those of you left in the continuim, I truely feel sorry. It may just be the begining of the end. So, continue to poop rainbows and deny to yourself saying that all is well if you want, if that helps you get by, but it's not working for me.

To answer your question, Zack was not banned from this site, and if he returns, it's his call to make. Also, we do not, nor have we ever, removed content from the archives when someone leaves our community, for whatever reason. That is not to say that objectionable posts or graphics have not been removed or edited over the years.

Very well spoken. My upbringing and my union has taught me to stand up and protect one another and not trample on the fallen. I would only hope that atleast one member would stand behind me for giving an opinion. Yes, "I" do know what is going on. I am not stirring the pot on this. However, correct terminology prevents confusion.

Mike's statement was that Zack could be back on here anytime he wanted, if he wanted. This is not the case. Zack was given a "Vacation". He has been "banned" for a set amount of time. He will return once his "punishment has been served".

Ok... so i haven't been surfing the forums this weekend like i normally get to, but what is going on? The reason i joined this forum as opposed to crownvic.net is because this forum was smaller for one, and because everyone got along so well. This used to be a tight knit community and i am just curious as to what has caused this line to be drawn in the sand.
