Fall is approaching, and it is a great time for capturing the season of color.

Here is a start. I am waiting for some sun to find its way back to North East Ohio to capture some more around the yard.

Last year's classic leaf array:

Good stuff Barry! Take lots of pics of your little one before she grows up on you.

I don't know what fall is anymore. We just don't get it down here, unless one of those tropical storms blows through, but then it's not just the leaves that come down, it's usually the whole tree.

I gotta get busy and do some shooting. I can't wait for it to cool off down here. We're still in the upper 80's with our normal humidity.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Yes indeed...

I have always said, I only leave these online a short time for the interested membership to enjoy.

Not to find one on the cover of a magazine some day because of my inability to copy protect.

Millions of photos are pirated for other's benefit, and the owner rarely receives any compensation.

Sorry....:o

I was really taken aback after reading an article in Pop Photograpghy about copyrighting ones photos and how complicated it can be to protect the photos we share online.

Only a handfull of folks that found their images unknowingly in use for advertisments such a travel brochures and sales ads, have ever recouped a portion of the profits these companies may have made in doing so.

There was a guy that had one of his photos
(that he was sharing online, yet made it known that they were indeed his, and his property), used on a piece of foreign currency!

I'll have to find that article and post it. It was a wierd resolution in the end.

I leave 'em posted long enough for us to see, but not long enough for the bots to get the links out all over the world.

It may sound greedy...
But I'd be pissed if I found a pic of my "Marauder in a country" setting and find some sign maker at some obscure car show selling hammered copper renditions of my photo for $75 a pop.

Is it this site, or your photo hosting site that you don't trust?
