NORTHEAST LINCOLN MERCURY HOSTS CRUISE NIGHT EVENT WITH DONATIONS BENEFITING SPECIAL OLYMPICS PENNSYLVANIA

(Philadelphia, PA) – Northeast Lincoln Mercury is donating a portion of its proceeds from its Cruise Night event, being held Saturday, September 13 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. The dealership hosts a classic car show and T-shirt sale to help benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA).

Each car owner who registers will make a $5.00 donation to SOPA. Northeast Lincoln Mercury anticipates more than 200 classic cars at the event, which will also include refreshments and Best of Show awards. T-shirts will be given to the first 200 car owners to arrive. After that, T-shirts will be sold for $10.00, with $5.00 of the sale benefiting SOPA.

“This event has proven to be a successful one. In April, we hosted an event to benefit the United States troops and were able to collect more than $1,055.00 and a van full of supplies. We’re hoping to raise even more money to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania,” said Ray Jermyn, Sr., of Northeast Lincoln Mercury.

The event is being held at the Northeast Lincoln Mercury dealership at 7001 Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. The rain date for this event is Sunday, September 14 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. More information about this event can be obtained by contacting Northeast Lincoln Mercury at 215-331-6600.

Special Olympics Pennsylvania provides year-round sports training and competition for 25,000 children and adults with mental retardation or closely related developmental disabilities. For more information, please visit our Web site at www.specialolympicspa.org.
