View Full Version : Blower Belt Tensioner

This may be of interest for any Trilogy owners who are pushing the envelope and having problems with belt slip.

The tensioner can be purchased separately from the stabilizer. I expected the additional pulley to improve belt wrap on the blower pulley more than it actually does.

Instead of using the extra pulley, it might have been better to just take out the travel stop set-screw and that may have stopped the belt slipping. May have to do that anyway.

Brian, cant you add a bigger idler to the drivers side portion of that piece?

No bigger idler pulley because the tensioner will move over far enough that the left & right sides of the belt will touch. Take out the travel limit setscrew and the gripper plate mounting point will then become the travel limiter, works great.

Wish I'd known about the colors, I would have gone with black anodized to fit my color scheme.
