Well, I left work early for lunch today to go home and get the Marauder out. After work I am taking it in to have the "clunk/thud" noise fixed once and for all as well as another oil change since it will be parked for the winter soon.
Anyway, we are enjoy some nice 50 degree weather today so nice cool air. Drove the car a little bit to get it warmed up. Then, with the Traction Control still on, I turned a corner on to a road with a slight up hill rise and 45 mph speed limit. Part way through the corner I went WOT and she got up and went. The 1-2 shift hit and the rear tires spun a little and the rear end kicked out a bit. She is definitely running well today.
Then got on it again, letting the Flowmasters breath at WOT, and again, another nice scratch on the 1-2 shift. Definitely puts the CVPI to shame...
Well, hopefully they will get the noise figured out and fixed, then the oil change done, and I am going to go ahead and put a new battery in so that who ever ends up being the new owner of this car won't have to worry about that. And that will take care of all issues the car has.
Anyway, I hope the rest of you are getting a chance to enjoy your cars. Especially those of you that park them for the winter.
