We've all come together with a common passion.....Marauders. Some of us have become very close and many of our experiences and friendships move well beyond the car.

We lost a piece of who we are today because "Word" on the Internet has overshadowed the truth. No matter how many times it was said, Dennis bent over backwards to make sure his business and ownership of the website did not conflict. That's the truth...period. Dennis asked for and received no favors. Dennis removing himself as an owner had to be one of the hardest decisions he's ever made but his passion for the car and the website lead him to take this action for the best future of the website. Dennis and Sheila will always remain dear friends to me.

Managing and administering this website is a labor of love for me. It is literally a full time job. I have come to know and help many of you over the last 5+ years, which is my biggest reward. I hope that I have earned the respect of the membership over the years.

Being constantly challenged for actions taken or truth spoken, has taken it's toll. Maybe some just like to hear themselves type, others are pot-stirrers just looking to get a rise or gather a following. We're accused of over-moderating and under-moderating. It's foolish to think we can please everyone. Have mistakes been made? Sure. No one is perfect. Does it help to be ruthlessly critical of actions taken in the vein of turning something around? That's really counterproductive. Too many cooks in the kitchen doesn't always make for the best recipe.

It's time to reset all of our expectations. We need to turn the corner together. Everyone has an opinion, including myself. I provide my opinion when appropriate. I ask all of you to do the same. To be honest, the "me too, me too" when it has no relevance, gets tiring. We are mostly adults here. I'm also tired of some continuing to side-step the word censor. We have a very full and colorful English language without needing to swear. Maybe you talk like that in person, that's your choice. But I ask that you respect others and keep it clean, please? The off-topic threads can be entertaining or annoying. Either you read them or don't. If you want to see more car threads, post up more car topics. We continue to have many new members join daily and we're pleased to offer them such a knowledgeable membership and a website plentiful with 6 years of Marauder information.

We are now done talking about "vendor/owner" conflict.

My door is always open. I'm glad to talk to anyone via any means. I reaffirm my commitment to this website and to you, the Members. I respectfully ask you all to join me as we move forward.
