Okay...I've got the wheels I'm going to put on for summer use. FR500's. The tires I will be running are Continentals. 235/50/18 front 245/50/18 rear.

The difference between the stock tire size is 1.3". The difference between these sizes is .5"

Will I need to keep the traction control off ALL the time or will I still be OKAY with it on? I know the ABS will be just fine. The difference on my last MM between the 2 sizes was a full 2".

I'm getting the tires and wheels free. I might as well try em!!

These will primarlly be used for summer use and not winter. I'll be retaining the factory wheels/tires for snow use.

All you need to do is change the revs/mile of the tire in the tune and it should give you no trouble with that combo.

245/50/18 is 27.6" diameter and 730 revs per mile
245/55/18 is 28.6" diameter and 705 revs per mile

Difference is 3.4% so at 60mph you'll actually be going 58mph if you don't correct the revs per mile.

Thanks guys.

I sure hope you have plans to lower the front...a LOT to make up for that Huge gap you are creating.

Post pics when done

The front tires are the same size as factory. The rears will just be a little shorter. I'll just do the air suspension adjustment.
