overall i am VERY happy with the exhaust, it is nice and quiet on normal driving, it has the best tone i have heard so far, and it just looks amazing. i can definitelly feel the car breathing a lot better and the power gain is definatelly there, it carries noticable torque and power gain.

yea it has a healthy tire chirp on the shift :D and the person that did the work is this guy Robbert that works for Tuffy on the corner of lincoln and touhy in lincolnwood

he really loves what he does, didnt rush anything and really went for making it look as good as its gonna get! great great great guy!

I like the looks but why did he run the tail pipes so high causing the the tips to run downwards? Unless it just appears that way in the pic. Was that the McCormic place parking lot? There is a security guard that works there every year for the world of wheels and is always directing traffic right after you pay (garage) and he makes me stop every year and smoke em all the way down the the long main aisle. Don't suppose you know him? He's awesome, this year he will get a real show with the trilogy!

yea ill have the tips taken care of when i get some spare time, they are hanging low, he threw out some options for me and from the way it was on the lift it looked like it would be just right since my car has a rake to begin with but yea it will get fixed

the vide is actually taken on the roof of the garage at UIC lol :D

Darn, they both sound good.I think yours is louder at idle, maybe because your tailpipes are facing straight to the rear as opposed to mine being turn downs, but I think mine may be a tad louder when revved. I know yours will hand me my lunch in a drag race!
I'd say we both have pretty nice P71's.

i'd say so, i was very suprised by how well yours sounded and looked, very nice find. and yea yours are louder but from the back i would say they are about the same, probably since mine are straight back and you have turn-downs

You could have saved yourself a lot of fabricating and just went with the Magnaflow 2 1/4" Cat-Back Stainless system for the 2006-2007 Ford Crown Victoria. I paid $600.00 installed for mine and it fits C.V.P.I.'s from 1999 on up...

Hey Bob,I'm doing better,I've got to wear a heart monitor 24/7 for a while yet so they can keep tabs on the ticker, and I was in Friday to see the wound specialist about the leg and I got the okay to finally take the bike out.So I took it out today and put about 100 miles on it and came back and met up for a sound comparo of our p71's.
Monday I see the cardiologist again as the heart came out of rhythm a couple times back on the 10th and 11th but I never noticed anything but the monitor picked it up. It looks like I have to cut back on the hot dogs, lol, but that leaves more for you and the guys who can't run as fast as you, lol.
I do need to get back to work though, much as I hate the conditions as things are pretty grim money wise,I've been off over 2 months now with just 7 disability checks of $175 each coming in. I actually considered selling the MM.

Two months off and my MM would have been fire sailed! How can you live on $1225? Thats absurd!! But i hear ya when my wife was off 22 weeks for surgery, chemo, and radiation she only recieved two disability checks totalling something like $1300.00! To make it worse they claimed to have overpaid by $550.00 and asked for it back!!!! Glad to hear your feelin better.

P.S. does that moniter go off around the hotties?

06+ magnaflow system is not a direct fit. that was my original choice, but you would have to go to a shop so they can tweek it so it would fit an 03 crown vic, with shipping and the cost for a shop to "tweek" the magnaflow system would me much more than $700. i payed for 2.5" piping, instead of 2.25 magnaflow piping and X pipe instead of the H pipe that comes with the magnaflow system. trust me, i crunched the numbers and all options and this was the best way to go.

thanks for the comments :D
