Looks good even if you didn't give the 'stang a bed of hay...

If you do cover it (inside), watch the tire glop on the cover when you pull it off next spring...there will be silicone/gunk on the cover and all over the paint (which'll need a bath anyway so I guess you didn't lose anything).

Pull the battery out (unless your going to fire it up a few times over the next few months) and throw 7 oz or so of Stabil in a full tank of pretrol and it'll perk right up like my 'Rauder does every spring!

Excellent tips. I do the same with cars I store in the winter.

Also, do not forget to inflate your tires to the max to compensate for the loss this winter, and to help prevent flat spots.

Furthermore, place a few small plastic containers with baking soda in the interior to soak up any midew, oders, moisture, etc...

It is just sad to see these threads popping up. I dread putting away the Marauder soon.

I called and "suspended" the Marauder's Insurance effective Nov 1. :( But, as long as it does not move out of the Garage, it is covered by our Home Owner's Policy

Jeez, And I just pulled out the snow tires for the Marauder. I never cleaned them from the past Spring. The fancy steel wheels were grungy. All scrubbed up and awaiting install the day before our first snow, which could be any day now.

Guess I should polish up my chromes plastic wheel covers so it doesn't look SOOOOO bad.

Come-on...my Super Bee SRT-8 with the 6.1L Hemi goes outside for runs twelve months a year, that little Mach 1 can certainly enjoy the outside roads also!

Anyone that knows new england winters can understand...while cars are meant to be driven, they should also be maintained.

Wow. It is hard for me to comprehend having to put your cars away for the winter now. It is 82* here as I write this and is going to be in the mid 80s all week. I used to live in Virginia, but only had one car so never could put my car away for the winter.

Sorry you folks don't get to drive your cars year round.

True tom... But if you had another vehicle would you not store the MM over the winter? I know I would

Mach1 is in nicer condition and less miles than my MM and she has another car to drive through winter, so why not?

its not abuse in the winter to drive a MM, its abuse to try and get the a Mach1 through winter

your super bee is heavier too and probably has traction control that works.... the Mustangs traction control is useless in rain let alone snow and it will not make it thorugh new england winters, plus her 98 camry drives great and saves gas and repair bills the Mach would need if it tried a new england winter

I usually throw some moth balls and bounce dryer sheets under the car, mice hate them, and stuff some rags in the tailpipes.

I also add one bottle of Drygas along with the Stabil.

Leave the windows open a 1/4 inch under the cover, to let the interior breathe....
